Discovery Flight Los Angeles
Your first real flying lesson — you take the controls.
The Experience
This is not a ride-along. A Discovery Flight is a genuine introductory lesson with an FAA-certificated flight instructor. After a ground briefing you'll help with the preflight inspection, take off from Van Nuys, and fly the airplane yourself over the city with your instructor beside you.
What's included

- Time can be logged toward a pilot certificate (bring a logbook and proof of U.S. citizenship, or a passport)
