Classic, smooth, perfect sightseeing ride.

About the Cessna 172
The most-produced airplane in history and the world's favorite trainer. High wings give you an unobstructed view of the ground below — ideal for sightseeing and photography.
The Story Behind the Cessna 172
In 1955 Cessna took its tailwheel 170, added a nosewheel and called it the 172. Pilots loved how easy it was to land, and it became the most-produced airplane in history — more than 44,000 built and still rolling off the line today.
Its most famous moment came over Las Vegas. In December 1958, pilots Robert Timm and John Cook took off in a Cessna 172 named the Hacienda and didn't land again for 64 days, 22 hours and 19 minutes — refueling from a speeding truck on a desert highway. That endurance record still stands.
Its high wing keeps the view below completely clear, which is exactly why we love it for flights past the Hollywood Sign and over the lights of downtown.
