Piper Archer
Comfortable cross-city flying adventure.

About the Piper Archer
A comfortable low-wing trainer with a roomy cabin and stable handling. A great choice for discovery flights and for flight training.
The Story Behind the Piper Archer
The Archer belongs to Piper's PA-28 Cherokee family, which first flew in 1960. Piper wanted an airplane that was simple to build, simple to fly and comfortable to travel in — and the formula worked so well that tens of thousands have been built.
In 1976 Piper gave the airplane a longer, tapered wing and a 180-horsepower engine and named it the Archer. That wing gives it its smooth, stable feel — the reason it became a favorite of flight schools and touring pilots around the world.
Low-wing, roomy and rock-steady, it's a great choice for a relaxed cruise along the coast from Malibu to the Santa Monica Pier.
