Pitts S-2B Biplane
Ultimate adrenaline rush, pure aerobatics.

About the Pitts S-2B Biplane
A legendary aerobatic biplane and an airshow icon. Flown by experienced aerobatic instructors with parachutes for both occupants — the most thrilling way to see Los Angeles.
The Story Behind the Pitts S-2B Biplane
In 1944 a Florida crop-duster named Curtis Pitts built a tiny biplane in his garage because nothing on the market could roll fast enough. That airplane, the Pitts Special, went on to change aerobatics forever.
Through the 1960s and '70s Pitts Specials dominated world aerobatic competition, flown by legends like Betty Skelton and the U.S. national aerobatic team. The two-seat S-2 arrived in 1967 so instructors could finally share the thrill, and the S-2B upgraded it with a 260-horsepower engine.
It rolls at well over 200 degrees per second and is still an airshow icon — and you can fly it yourself, with a seasoned aerobatic instructor in the seat behind you.
